MARRAKECH BEST RIADS_DAR NAJAT&RIAD BAB MARRAKECH

What can I say!?. Took my fiance for his 40th birthday and we had an amazing time. The Riad is cool, beautiful, clean and extremley friendly. ALL the staff are brilliant and so helpful. It felt like we had come home. Aissam was the best host, extremely funny, very helpful and quietly considerate. "Bob Marley" was always on hand to show you the way round the never ending & very confusing streets and then to sit and chat in the evening over a cool beer. Oliver, although not around alot was incredibly welcoming and fun and he should be proud of his staff. Best quirky feature is "Harry Potter" the tortoise that lives on the second floor. The 3 course meal cooked as a suprise for my fiance was the best food we ate all holiday. A beautiful place full of kind, smiling people. Definately going back

“A really cool, friendly and relaxed Riad in the heart of Marrakech”
Loved my stay at Riad Dar Najat...it was perfect!!....everyone there was so friendly. Oliver and Amin were both very welcoming and I felt completely relaxed there. I was met at the airport and taken to the Riad in a taxi which was free of charge and on my arrival I was given a mobile and a short guide of Jemma Fna which I found a great help as it was my first visit to Marrakech. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of instant hot water. The breakfast was excellent....more than I could eat!!
I also stayed for one night at Essaouira in the new Riad that Oliver and Amin have recently opened. Once again I was met on arrival and taken to the Riad. That evening I had an amazing freshly cooked fish tagine there and ate with Oliver and his friends and we had a great night...and good music too....Thank you!!

best vibes riad in Marrakech!

best vibes riad in Marrakech!, première mise en ligne par darnajat.

We spent 4 nights recently in this riad on our first trip to Morocco. What a good place to start! The airport transfer went smoothly and we received a great welcome on arrival - cold beers while sitting on a wonderful, peaceful terrace. We had a meal in the riad on our first evening and that was great. Our room - the Sakina- was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff here are great - they give you a mobile phone so that you can phone the riad if you get lost in the medina. They sent one of the staff as a guide on our first solo trip to the square but it is easy to find once you have done it once. Breakfast in this hotel is excellent. I don't like buffets, getting up and down all the time. Here you get served at your table with pastries, crepes, omelettes, juice, bread and coffee. So relaxing! There is so much to do and see in the medina and you can walk from the Dar Najat to most places. We always felt safe walking around at all times of the day and evening. The Moroccan people are very friendly but don't let the kids guide you too often! Use your map- the square, souks,Bahia palace and Badii palace to name a few of the good things to do but there is always something interesting around the corner. We stood with the crowd and saw the King go to prayers! Great atmosphere. The Jardin majorelle is worth a trip- easy to get a petit taxi if you get tired walking! There is so much to see in the medina that 4 days is really necessary. I feel so sad that the bombing in the square has happened - the atmosphere in the square was amazing but Marrakesh will bounce back! It is such a friendly place and somewhere really worth visiting.Lots of nice cafes where you can get a coffee or juice and watch the world go by. The Dar Najat makes a really good base and the staff really helped us with information. The courtyard and terrace mean that when you get tired you can come back to the riad and chill out for a while in a really calm environment. I have no hesitation in recommending this riad mainly because of the helpful staff but also because it is such a comfortable and friendly place to be in such a bustling and lively city.

Room Tip: The Sakina was very nice!
