This place is wonderful - very relaxed, lovely atmosphere, great hospitality and no kidding, the best food we had in all of morocco... couldn't recommend it more. Simply loved it

“Magical, Great location, great staff”

I recently spent 3 nights at the Dar Najat and simply put, it was awesome. Marakesh has an amazing pulse and once you have experienced the madness of the Medina, it's refreshing to return to your Riad and soak in the tranquility of your surroundings. Dar Najat was the perfect place to do so. They have a great rooftop deck from which to observe the city or to watch the stars at night with a cold beer in your hands. Oliver, the owner, has created the place with warmth, from the amazing staff, to the soft lighting at night, to the great music that fills your soul. And, to be honest, one of the best meals I had in Marakesh was the first night I was there when they produced a lamb in a prune sauce that was truly first class. Be sure to challenge Oliver in a game of backgammon if you are up for the challenge. Don't even hesitate about booking here. It's righteous. I will be back.

We stayed at Dar Najat for 5 nights in early December. We had a great time. Olivier and his whole team couldn't do enough for us. Amine was a great guide on the first day walking us to the main square till we got our bearings. After that he was always around to recommend restaurants (taking us to them twice) and generally be on hand to help. The riad was a great 'chill' place, beautifully appointed and a great place to relax, a haven in the crazy busy exhiliarating medina. We will go back, and next time we are going to ask Olivier to organise and include a trip to the coast too.

“Best Riad with the Best People in Marrakech”
This riad brought me together with my family for a warm and welcoming holiday in a traditional Moroccan setting. In this bed & breakfast type setting, the rooms are small, but lovely and surround a beautiful, open courtyard common area. Wonderful traditional breakfasts were served on the main floor or on the rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. Staff are friendly and helpful - doing everything from escorting our driver through the old town to preparing a lovely intimate dinner on our last evening. The new years celebration - with wonderful food and drink, a Moroccan band, and belly dancers was a and bonus.

best b&b marrakech

My wife and I stayed at this riad for 5 nights, our stay was simply the best and we cannot wait to go back there.
The whole experience was amazing, we booked online on the riads website, the communications received from the owner were very quick and made us feel reassured.
When we got to Marrakech airport the driver was waiting for us, we got to the riad in around 15 minutes. The location of riad dar najat is very good, it is a 5 minute walk away from the main Jemma el fna square. Once you have been show the way once, you will be able to find your way around easily.
The staff at this riad are very good, they did whatever we asked from them, our room was cleaned everyday and all of the furnishings were like new. Our room was ensuite and had its own air conditioning unit.
The riad had 2 terraces, the one had a massive Jacuzzi on it which we used a few times, it was great to get in there after a long days shopping. The upper terrace had a few chillout rooms there, it was nice and private.
The food at the riad was the best we had during our stay, the breakfast was very filling and kept us going, for the evening meal we had the lamb tagine and it was cooked to perfection.
All in all we would highly recommend this riad and we will be going back there on our next vist to Marrakech

I can only recommend you to stay and to experiment what is real retreat and peace in the middle of la Medina of Marrakesh. How lucky and spoiled you will be by staying at this unique place, with an amazing deco and the all staff always ready to help you on any of your requests.
But most of all, you will get the best service, always with a touching smile and the sweetest words. I really have to say that I was more than surprised but mesmerized by all the care I was given to. You will have spacious bedrooms, free drinks, best food, and great view from the top second terrace. What would you more?

Oliver, Amin, Tarek and Said all made my stay (with wife & family) at Dar Najat over the New Year holiday absolutely unforgettable! Perfect location, funky Africa-themed decor, excellent food, unblemished hospitality....I could go on. Great music! 5 minute walk to a main souk area, 8 minutes to Jemaa el Fna square. I'm an expat living in Casablanca, and I'm so excited to know that whenever I go to Marrakech for the weekend I will already know where to stay...can't wait until next time :-)

“Excellent in every way....”
I cannot say enough good things about Dar Najat and the amazing people who work there! It was really one of the best highlights of our trip to Morocco. I have been working in the hospitality management industry for nearly 20 years, and I am very picky when it comes to service. Dar Najat exceeded ALL of my expectations. The owner, Oliver, and the staff (Amin, Said, Tarek, and the ladies who worked the kitchen and back of the house) were so warm and welcoming. It felt like we were staying over a friend’s house. In addition to the outstanding service and care they give you, the place was so beautiful and relaxing (and quite), and located in the heart of the old medina. After spending a few hours in the hustle and bustle of the market and the center (Jemma El Fna), we looked forward to walking back to the Riad for a quite, relaxing break, and a glass of wine or their excellent Mint tea. We also decided to have dinner there one evening…and I cannot say enough about how tasty that dinner was. Their breakfast was also awesome and they were willing to serve it to you whenever you decided to wake up. Stop looking and just book your stay at this Riad. You won’t regret it.

“Fantastic Food with a great atmosphere”
We had the pleasure of eating at Dar Najat's Kitchen in December, the food was simply the best we had in our weeks stay in Morocco.
The cuisine is traditional Moroccan, we had the selection of mixed vegatables for the starter, it came with four different dishes and we could not believe how much food was given to us, the portions were massive and really filling. We had the kefta tagine for the main, it was sublime, it had all the tradtional tastes to it and tasted like home cooked food, absolutely delicious. We had the chocolate cake for desert, again it was a massive portion but was so nice it just had to be eaten.....
The cost of our meal was very reasonable, we felt like we had excellent value for money and would highly recommend you visit Dar Najat's Kitchen if you are in Marrakech.

I was just at this lovely Riad for my first visit to Marrakech and it was beyond amazing. Coming in, you are instantly greeted by the warmest people who make you feel right at home. The Riad is tucked away from the chaos of the Old Town but is in the perfect location; we didn't drive anywhere the three days we were in town (we just walked, and walked, and walked). The rooms are lovely; clean and very beautifully decorated with awesome bathrooms and great showers! There is a lovely lobby for late night chess games and three levels of terraces for outdoor teas, drinks, etc. At night, the Riad was quiet and we slept so well : )
Eat lots here, as the food is delicious and home-made...also very reasonably priced! Breakfast (included) was served every morning and was a wonderful mix of european croissants, moroccan bread, and awesome coffee...all served outside overlooking the rooftops of Marrakech. Dinners were extra but well worth the money as the food was authentic and served in a relaxed atmosphere making it feel like you were really at home, not in a hotel.
The owner and staff are wonderful...they have great advice for shopping, spas, etc and will help you find anything. We were here for New Year's Eve and the party was unforgettable.

MARRAKECH 31 BEST RIAD-RIAD DAR NAJAT
From our very first exchange of emails when booking the Dar Najat, we knew it was going to be great. Oliver was so friendly, giving great pre trip advice and made us feel part of the family before setting foot in Marrakech. We really could write pages but suffice to say that the Dar Najat is a wonderful, peaceful oasis in a mad and amazing city. But the real gem(s) at the Riad are Oliver, Siad, Amin, Tarek, Souad, Brownie (their dog) and everyone else - always on hand to care for you. A message to Oliver - my friend, you made us so welcome, Jayne and I had a great time; thank you so very much. A message to anyone considering booking the Dar Najat - book it, you won't be disappointed!!!!

Oliver is a legend, such a nice genuine guy, and his team is likewise genuine, kind and helpful.
Transfer from the airport, guided trip to the main square, lovely meals, good music. This is the best I've experienced in Morocco (9 trips), and will definitely be returning (with more time to visit the mountains and Olivers other riad in Essaouira).
The riad is well placed, beautifully designed, spotless clean and very well furnished. A calm oasis in a bustling city. Just perfect.
Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. You really wont be disappointed, just book it and let them take care of you (they even purchased train tickets for me).
Honestly, look no further, this is it!
