From our florida home to our new home in morocco, the dar najat - the coolest riad in marrakech! We felt welcomed in the best of the moroccan tradition by friendly monsier oliver and his outstanding staff. A cozy, romantic and authentic riad with superb food. After a well slept night in a confortable and cool room we indulged in a glorious breakfast of the best fresh-squeezed orange juice ever tasted, refined moroccan mint tea and delicious food fit for a sultan. The driver, abderrahim, showed us marrakesh in a very professional way giving us very valuable tips.The dinner tagines were exquisit. We be back soon!

"THE RIAD"
The owners of Dar Najat and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we were at home and not just staying at a hotel. Breakfast and tea in the afternoon were wonderful. I would highly suggest Dar Najat to anyone going to Marrakech.

We just came back from our first trip to Marrakech and we stayed 4 days at Riad Dar Najat. We used the place due to the guests review on the net. Thanks!
It was a beautiful experience! We came because it was my husband's birthday however he got sick there. Oli (Oliver) and his staff made sure that the Doctor not once but twice saw him. He prescribed flu medications. It was truly a remarkable hospitality! Also, my daughter Bea fell in love with the turtle Harry Potter, the place and the staff. She was really at home and connected to everyone the moment she got in.
The breakfast were delectable and all the meals. My husband celebrated his birthday with just the two of us. They set up the place. He was surprised! It was very romantic!
They fed Bea, our 8 years old daughter as if she was a member of the family. They spoiled her and she was able to ride the motorbike everyday. As soon as she got up in the morning, she was ready to be with the staff! She will forever remember her Marrakech family!
I truly would like to say thank you to each one of them, to Oli - his sense of humor and always made sure that we were fine; to Ahmad who showed me the place on the first day and all the days that I needed him. I called him the sweetest man in Marrakech! Also to Layla, Aicha and Malika – thank you Ladies for showering your love to Bea. She did not want to go back with us. I guess she wants to stay there with all of you. Of course to Amin and Tarik who were ready to offer tea and fresh orange juice with a big smile, and others, thank you!
I highly recommend everyone to stay at Oli’s place because after your chaotic journey in Marrakech you really want to come home and Riad Dar Najat is truly a home away from home!

“Very friendly and beautiful riad”
The owner was very nice and welcoming and had drinks up with us in their seating area when we arrived with a very beautiful view of Marrakech. We had quite an ordeal finding their location and parking lot. Better directions for visitors would be useful (although I suspect this is the case for any riad in Marrakech), but they were extremely helpful in assisting us in retrieving our car and getting us to their parking lot and showing us the way out of Marrakech. The breakfast was very nice. The place is well situated and very chic.

Nous avons découvert le riyad au hasard d'une rencontre avec son créateur il y'a quelques années de cela, lors d'un déplacement pour un évènement culturel.
nous avons sympatiser et avons découvert son lieu et surtout son accueil!
un responsable d'établissement qui est à votre disposition dans un riyad aussi chaleureux et verdoyant c'est rare!
nous avons eus la sensation de ne pas être que des clients, nous y prenons nos quartiers chaque année c'est décidé!

I took my mother and a friend to Marrakesh for a week' holiday . and Dar najat was great.
It is close to the cultural attractions, and within walking distance 5mn to the place Jamma elfnaaa .
Once inside all is tranquil ; I looked in all the rooms and can confirm that they all live up to the web-site photos - they're beautiful, I was lucky to have a room on the 1st floor but my Mum was equally pleased with her pretty and cosy room on the ground floor.
Although there is a pretty courtyard , the main public area is the terrace, where we had generous breakfasts , lounged in the sun after a jaccuzi and enjoyed evening dinner .
I would say that the gem of all at Dar najat is Olivier and his staff He is the most warm and helpful hotel proprietor I have ever met, he speaks perfect English, He will give all the info and tips you could possibly wish for. He made us feel exceptionally welcome He give very good restaurant recommendations azar a new lebanese resaurant beautiful, with great food ,great wine from lebanan châteaux Kefraya .Le comptoir darma fabulous mechoui .He arrange anything you have in mind.like a night in essaouira great italian food there . thank you all

“Best place in morroco”
For once i have to agree with all the other reviews, this Riad is truly special. you are able to pick the room you like best, what you would like for dinner, what you would like for breakfast etc. I have stayed in 14 hotels this year alone and found this Riad to have the best service by far.The very warming manager Oliver was kind enough to arrange a tour of the city, a trip in the country side on quad bikes and evening events for us. The location of the Riad is 5 Mins walk to the main square where everything is.I tried 3 restaurants and found the lamb served in the Riad restaurant the best by far, the other restaurants served what i call tourist food.

How I wish i was back in Dar Najat -the best holiday ever. Oliver and his lovely team of staff really made our holiday so special -nothing was too much trouble for them. I had fantastic day trips to the atlas mountains organised for me -including a trip to an African market. Food was amazing. Rooms lovely and clean and the air con a must. Room was cleaned every day -the rooms are like something out of arabian nights.

“einfach traumhaft!”
ich habe das dar najat nun zum 5x mit freunden besucht und war, wie jedesmal, absolut begeistert. das team konnte sich an die kleinsten details meiner vergangenen besuche erinnern und zeigte wahre freude über meinen erneuten aufenthalt. diesesmal war auch die jahreszeit optimal, um sich im jacuzzi auf der dachterrasse zu erfrischen!
das essensangebot wurde erweitert. beim erstenmal wurde ich königlich bedient mit couscous royale, nun gibt es diverse andere marokkanische spezialitäten aus der küche.
mich konnte noch kein anderes riad in marrakech gesamthaft so überzeugen, wie das dar najat.
-> super lage, 5min vom grossen platz entfernt und trotzdem ruhig
-> ganzes riad sehr stilvoll und mit liebe eingerichtet

Dar Najat is a beautiful riad, perfectly located to enable you to explore all that Marrakech has to offer. The en-suite rooms are tastefully decorated and a little eccentric. There is constant hot water and additional bedding is made available. The hotel is very clean, the staff a delight. They are welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile for their guests. Breakfasts are great, served on a lovely terrace providing shade as needed. On our arrival we had organised to eat at the riad - this was one of (if not the) best meal we had in Marrakech. The two resident tortoises are great company! I have no hesitation in recommending Dar Najat - I will definitely be returning!

Excellent location, a calm oasis to return to after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Fantastic breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee, pain au chocolat, pancakes, omelettes, fresh bread and jams. We were picked up at the airport and were given a lovely evening meal on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, all of whom were really polite and helpful. Amin in particular looked after us very well, escorting us to places if he thought we might get lost!

The hotel staff could not do enough for us...very friendly, welcoming and accomodating to our many requests (like breakfast at 6.30am!). The hotel has a lovely terrace, perfect breakfast spot. Location is ideal, as about 7min walk from the main square, so close but away form the maddness with shops and cafe's / bars along the route to temp you! Showers always had hot water and the room had a heater and airconditioning...having arrived cold and wet from trekking in the mountians hot water and heating was very much apreciated!

Riad encantador, La decoración muy bonita, el trato estupendo. Eramos una pareja de "maduritas" que prácticamente no hablábamos idiomas y se desvivieron por entendernos y complacernos. Oliver el dueño si habla español. Estaba todo el día pendiente de nosotras. Totalmente recomendable. Por favor, si vais alojaros en un Riad, olvidaros dl hotel, es una experiencia para vivirla. La comida estupenda, cenamos casi todos los días en el Riad, y de los sitios en los que comimos era de lo mejorcito. Por cierto, alquilamos una guía desde esta página, fati, lo recomiendo para que os enseñe la Medina, así en una mañana ves lo más importante y aprendes a orientarte por la Medina.

Dar Najat is very comfortable, the food was delicious and freshly prepared however the outstanding thing about our stay was the great kindness and hospitalility of our host and his staff who took tremendous care of us. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, from organising trips, leading one around the labyrinth that is the Medina to arranging a fantastic birthday gateau and obtaining medicine. Their friendly taxi service also deserves a mention.
